Nursing as a science of human care develops from scientific research in search of the best evidence to support its care. In this sense, technological development and social contexts influence communication strategies and the dissemination of knowledge produced by the profession. Currently, scientific communication trends in nursing have been the expansion of online scientific journals and the application of knowledge legitimization tools made possible by the internet, while dissemination trends, in addition to traditional ones, are the use of social networks, podcasts, online events and hybrids and specialized blogs, in favor of the socialization of knowledge.
