Objective: the present work acts as a searcher for answers about the causes of illness of a population perceived in telemonitoring in the 2021 pandemic. Methods: a descriptive observational study was carried out by a healthcare provider in Arapiraca/AL. Results: the present study had a total of 185 emergency care alerts within the time of the research, making it possible to successfully carry out 94 health TLMs, and from these, four were inactivated from the health plan during the research; 91 did not answer calls or were unavailable contacts. The main complaints present in the research were: flu and cold symptoms (n= 30; 27%), abdominal pain (n= 10; 9%), hypertensive peaks (n= 8; 7.2%), joint complaints (n= 5; 4.5%), headache (n= 5; 4.5%), muscle complaint (n= 5; 4.5%). Conclusion: it was noticed that knowledge and appreciation of the importance of health telemonitoring is scarce among the population studied, given the large unavailability of telephone contacts.
