Abstract

Objectives: to understand the physical/emotional (dis)comfort of mourners who seek psychography of a loved one; know the psychographic reception; measure grief mitigation; share obstacles in research. Methods: in 2022 and 2023, interviews were carried out: structured, with ten (10) questions for the bereaved; semi-structured, with ten (10) surveys for one (1) medium and six (6) assistants; open, for 12 receivers of mediumistic messages. Results: obstacles in the pre-authorized field resulted in discarded data. After changing the environment, 124 interviews obtained are undergoing qualitative analysis, comparing (non)compliance with DSM-5 and consolidated studies. Conclusion: the commitment of mourners - even under anxiety - and enablers of psychography, was evident.
