Objective: aim of analyzing, classifying, and tabulating the morphological dental anomalies found on panoramic radiographs, as well as their prevalence and incidence. Methods: obtaining information about variations according to age, sex, and location of these changes in the oral cavity in 2020 and 2021 using the database of a private dental radiology clinic in Feira de Santana-BA. Results: data collection took place through the analysis of 2894 panoramic radiographs, of which 360 presented some type of shape anomaly, with laceration 80% (n=288), taurodontics 8.61% (n=31), hypercementosis 7.50% (n=27), concrescence 0.83% (n=3), claw cusp 0.28% (n=1), ectopic enamel 1.39% (n=5), twinning 0.28% (n=1), blackberry molar 0.55% (n=2), pulp nodule 0.28% (n=1), supernumerary root 0.28% (n=1), fusion, Hutchinson incisors and dens in dent were not identified (n=0). There was a prevalence of anomalies in the mandible (n=451) to the maxilla (n=192) and greater involvement of females (63.89%) than males (36.11%). Conclusions: through this study, it was possible to observe that many of these anomalies have an exclusive radiographic diagnosis and demonstrate the importance of knowledge and recognition of them through these exams to avoid complications in the execution of the dental treatments.
