Health Program at the virtual School: a reflection on oral health care during COVID-19

Abstract

Introduction: In confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, health practices established until then had to be modified or suspended. Objective: Report the experience of an oral health action in the School Health Program, in virtual format. Methodology: Descriptive, qualitative experience report. Description of the experience: Execution of the Virtual PSE in a school in the rural area of ​​the municipality of Paracuru-CE. The activity was developed through the Google Meet platform and allowed the promotion of oral health in the context of the pandemic. Final considerations: The seasonal reality of contamination and consequent interruption or adaptation of health practices makes it necessary to prepare and adapt health actions and activities that guarantee comprehensive health care for the population.
