O artigo apresenta uma proposta metodológica qualitativa para estudo do construto Negócio Social à luz da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho. Parte da identificação de uma variedade não consensual de conceitos que envolvem os Negócios Sociais e os estuda pelas lentes da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, considerando as dimensões de contexto (condições de trabalho, organização do trabalho, relações de trabalho) e de conteúdo (carga psíquica, prazer-sofrimento, estratégias de defesa) dessa teoria. O objetivo do artigo é propor um framework metodológico para pesquisas qualitativas em Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, considerando as especificidades dos Negócios Sociais. Apresenta uma proposta de campo baseada na entrevista narrativa, de natureza exploratória, com uso de tópicos-guia centrados na tríade vivências, pensamento, sentimento; utilização de elementos-estímulo como ferramenta projetiva; e a análise dos núcleos de sentido como técnica de análise. O artigo contribui com a área dos métodos qualitativos, ao exemplificar uma espécie de “projeto de artesanato metodológico”, ao mesmo tempo “customizável” e replicável, para pesquisas que consideram a indissociável relação teoria-objeto-método.
