On-farm biofactories allow the production of agricultural bioinputs for use in crops, reducing costs, the risk of environmental pollution, and soil contamination. The selection of the biofactory model to produce bacteria and fungi to improve agricultural production requires decision-making that involves several alternatives and criteria, making the decision-making process complex. The objective of this work is to create a multicriteria decision model to rank the ideal types of biofactories to produce bacteria and fungi on a mango farm. To obtain the ranking, the method used was the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The decision matrix for the problem was constructed with nine criteria and three alternatives. The ranking order resulted in the proposal of alternative 1 with an index of 0.805 as the ideal biofactory model to produce bioinputs, considering qualitative and quantitative criteria. It is concluded that the work was important in the ranking for decision-making, bringing the possibility of evaluating the alternatives from the perspective of different criteria. The results found and presented in the study contribute to a deeper understanding of the criteria used in the selection of biofactories. For future work suggestions, more criteria related to the ideal conditions for each type of microbiological production can be explored, increasing the number of alternatives and comparing TOPSIS with other decision models, such as WASPAS and MOORA.
