This article addresses the complex issue of inclusion in the context of Vocational Technical Education. The challenges that Technological Professional Education (EPT) educational institutions and educators face when trying to create inclusive environments and offer equitable educational opportunities for all students are exposed and analyzed. It uses literature review as a methodology. This review includes articles, dissertations, theses and books as research sources and more scientific works existing in teaching and research institutions in Brazil that are made available in their institutional repositories. Furthermore, the article explores the perspectives and strategies that can be adopted to promote effective inclusion in this scenario, highlighting the importance of teacher training, the involvement of society and the recognition of the skills and potential of students with disabilities. In summary, the article highlights the pressing need to promote inclusion in vocational technical education and offers insights into how to overcome the challenges associated with this mission.
