Reconhecidos e valorizados: a sedução nos ritos, rituais e cerimônias em uma Agência Bancária

A cultura organizacional é construída por valores e normas derivadas de dois tipos de práticas que constituem a organização: a prática organizacional e a prática discursiva. Entretanto, um terceiro elemento faz parte do contexto organizacional: os ritos realizados para reforçar valores e crenças organizacionais. Esses três elementos atuam em conjunto, resultando em diferentes atividades, incluindo a realização de certos rituais e cerimônias. Este trabalho analisa os ritos, rituais e cerimônias de uma agência bancária com o objetivo de compreender os significados que os membros atribuem a esses eventos. Os procedimentos da pesquisa são os recursos fotográficos e a entrevista com funcionários. A técnica de análise utilizada é a análise de conteúdo das fotos e dos depoimentos obtidos, buscando identificar os significados atribuídos pelos funcionários aos eventos que compõem a cultura da organização na qual trabalham. Os resultados indicam que os entrevistados atribuem significativa importância às cerimônias realizadas para comemoração das metas atingidas, sinalizando para o conceito de organização de simbolismo intensivo (OSI).
