This article deals with the use of music, specifically Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), as a pedagogical strategy in legal education in the subject of Introduction to Philosophical Thought, formerly called just Philosophy, which as a rule occurs in the 1st semester of Law courses, Therefore, it is a propaedeutic content in the curricular matrix of the Law course. It is proposed, in this way, to manifest a pedagogical praxis in the classroom, motivating and engaging students, from the first semester, to the exercise of critical and creative reflection on philosophical and jus-philosophical contents, with the support of the playfulness that music proposes.
