Open Access Policy
The Revista Opinião Jurídica adopts a policy of free and immediate access to its published works and permits any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, in accordance with the copyright and licensing terms.
The Revista Opinião Jurídica is committed to the novelty and originality of its publications. Until 2025, works published by the journal were subject to a transfer of copyright to the journal. However, in line with the best editorial practices in an open access system, the Journal has adopted a policy of copyright retention by the authors, while guaranteeing the Journal the right of first publication, effective from issue number 43 (2025).
Under the current submission policy, authors retain the copyright to their works and grant the Revista Opinião Jurídica the right of first publication. The Journal uses a Creative Commons license. Published works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC-BY-NC-SA).
