Estatuto da Igualdade Racial: Ações Afirmativas de Integração Étnica ou Políticas de Discriminação Reversa?

O presente estudo busca questionar a eficácia social, cultural e cidadã das políticas de ação afirmativa no Brasil, mais precisamente a prevista na Lei n° 12.288, de 20 de julho de 2010, o Estatuto da Igualdade Racial. A partir de uma análise multidisciplinar, se há a possibilidade real de tais políticas fomentarem a igualdade entre as etnias e corrigirem o erro histórico da escravidão e a discriminação em relação ao negro, bem como o risco de promoverem a divisão da sociedade brasileira e perpetuarem práticas de racismo com a discriminação reversa de grupos tradicionalmente oprimidos no país, além de limitarem a cidadania cultural dos afrodescendentes com a manutenção da tradicional mentalidade paternalista e assistencialista na política brasileira.Downloads
